Stef Bloch, real name Stéphane Bloch, is a French director and photographer.

Biography

Stef Bloch collaborates with French and international artists such as Bérurier Noir, Jacques Higelin, Le Peuple de l'Herbe, Micropoint, Michel Fugain, Maurane, Yann Destal, Gnawa diffusion, Ska-P, The Gladiators, Meï Teï Shô and Manu Chao or also Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine. He has created the video scenography for the international tours of Vitalic and Micropoint, and accompanied and filmed, among others, the tours of Bérurier Noir and Le Peuple de l'Herbe. Since 2010, he has also collaborated on the projects of the international contemporary art center Le Consortium in Dijon. He notably directed documentaries and portraits of artists such as Nicolas Party, Joe Bradley, Jean-Marie Appriou, John M. Armleder or Rodney Graham. Since 2012 he has also undertaken several photographic series around the notions of archives and representation. His portraits appeared in various art magazines and he undertook his first exhibition in Cairo, Egypt, on the occasion of the "Cairo Tattoo Convention". (Wikipédia)
